BUNGARD, Ronald Joseph. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on October 2, 2020 at Dunedin Hospital; in his 90th year.  Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, a much-loved father and father-in-law of Joselyn and Stephen Hughes, Linda and Lynn Cowie, Kay and Paul Solomon, Janet and Jimmy Gray, Ronald and Laura, the late Dennis and a loved Grandfather of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   A service of farewell for Ron will be held on Wednesday, October 7, at 1.30 p.m. in the Waihola Presbyterian Church, Nore Street, Waihola, then leaving for the Waihola Cemetery. MARWICK, Colin Douglas. Suddenly, on October 2, 2020 at his home in Balclutha; aged 81years. Dearly loved husband of June, greatly loved dad and father-in-law of Joanne and Darren Bunting, Craig and Nicki, Carole, Kerri*, Rodger and Nicola, a loved Grandad of Amy, Dylan, and Brayden and a loved brother-in-law and uncle to many.  (*denotes deceased).   A service of farewell for Colin will be held on Thursday, October 8 at 1 p.m. in Doug Nesbit’s Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, followed by a private family interment.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Balclutha St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at Colin’s service.  Messages to 33 Ipswich Street, Balclutha, 9230
 
WALLIS, Rebecca Catherine Hume (Ruby). Peacefully, at Clutha Views Lifecare, Balclutha on October 3, 2020; aged 90 years.  Loved wife of Richard Wallis, and the late Trevor Whitten, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Rodney, Noeline, Trevor, Lois, and Chris, and a loved family member of Anthea, Kent, George, and Eric.    At Ruby’s request, a private family service has been held.  Messages to Trevor on 020 4015 1610. 
 

GEARY, Moana Elizabeth (nee Wybrow):  Moana passed away peacefully on 12thOctober, 2020 at Christchurch Hospital with her Whanau at her side; aged 73 years.  Loving partner of Colin (Gill), loving mother of Nicholas, Rym, and Dean, mother in law to Emma, Philippa, and Alice, precious Nana of Jessica, Grace, Cooper, Addison, Tate, Isla, and Jasmine, and a special Nana to Brayden, Britney, and Ethan. Loved sister of the Wybrow families and a much loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews.  A service of farewell for Moana will be held on Friday 16th October at 1.30pm in our Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, then leaving for the Balclutha Lawn Cemetery. PRINGLE, Earle David.  Peacefully, on October 16, 2020 at Ashlea Grove Rest Home, Milton; aged 87 years. A loved father, father-in-law and grandfather of Scott, Rose, Ruby, and Lily Pringle; Ross, Jennifer, Ella, Lucy, and Georgia Pringle; Tania, Keith, Calum, and Elsa Anderson.   At Earles’ request, a private cremation has been held.   Messages C/- Ross Pringle, 2 Hamilton Court, Milton 9220.

MCNAUGHT, Mervyn Stewart; Suddenly, but peacefully at his daughter’s residence in Milton, on Sunday 18thOctober, 2020; aged 74 years.   Dearly loved father of Aaron, Quentin (Australia), Melissa (Milton), and  friend of Lorraine (Australia), respected Merv to his grandchildren Cody, Leah, Jessica, Abbey, Nick, Angel, and Terry.   A service of farewell for Merv will be held on Thursday, October 22nd at 1pm in our Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, followed by a private cremation. THORNTHWAITE, Colin Richard.  On October 20, 2020 peacefully at home in the loving care of Joan and his girls; in his 90th year. Dearly loved husband of Joan for 65 years, much loved father and father-in-law of  Joy and Allan Lindsay, Carol Ruddenklau and Gerry Ward, Glenys Thornthwaite-Kennett,  Diane* and Drew Chartres and respected friend of Peter Kennett and Peter Ruddenklau*, much loved Grandad of Paul and Sheree, Simon and Steph; Nicholas and Karina, Ben and Fiona, Tony and Jes; Emily and Taylor, and Kate; Tomas and Adam, and very special Great Grandad of Ryan and Amelia, Parker and Darcie; Drew, Jonty and Toby, George and Jack and Jaedean. (*denotes deceased). "Wonderful memories will be forever in our hearts".   A service to celebrate Colin’s life will be held on Tuesday 27 October, 2020 in the Tokomairiro Presbyterian Church, Union Street, Milton at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation. McKENZIE, Marion June (June); (nee Jensen).  On October 26, 2020 at Clutha Views Lifecare, Balclutha; aged 91 years.  Loved wife of the late George, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Marion and Howie Gardner, John and Rita, Donald*, Malcolm* (*denotes deceased).  A loved grandmother of her 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at Clutha Views for their compassionate care of June for over two years.   “Now in the Lord’s care”.    A service of farewell for June will be held at 1.30 p.m. on Friday, October 30th in the Balclutha Presbyterian Church, George Street, Balclutha, then leaving for the Balclutha Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Balclutha St John Ambulance may be left at June’s service. Passed peacefully on 30thOctober, 2020.  Dearly loved wife of the late Jack Bradshaw, loved mum of David, Paul, Debbie, and Lisa, Grandma to Laura, Michael, Tracey, Timothy, Rhys, Amy, Jono, and Matthew, Great Grandma to Riley, Savannah, Carter, Harvey, Tobias, Elijah, and Blake.    A Memorial Service for Rose will be held on Saturday 21st November 2020 at 1.00 PM, in the Creative Arts Centre, 142 Clyde Street, Balclutha.

CROSS Neville Winston (Springer). Died peacefully on 31st October 2020 in his 74th year, at Clutha Health First, surrounded by his family.  Loved and respected husband of Kushma, loved father of Robyn, Janene, Jacqui, Nadia, Aaron, Joseph, the late Matthew and Dorothy, and Stepdaughter Bali and their partners, cherished and adored Grandfather and Great grandfather to all his grandchildren.   A service for Neville will be held on Thursday, 5th November 2020 at 11 am in the South Otago Town and Country Club, Yarmouth Street, Balclutha, followed by a private cremation. WYBER Avise Annie. Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Ross Home, Dunedin, surrounded by her loving family; in her 89th year.  Loved wife of *Ollie, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law to Elaine and Don McKerchar (Milton), and Graham and Carol Black (Adelaide), much loved Nana Wy to all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, a loved daughter of Ted* and *Nellie Shaw (Riverton), a loved sister and sister-in-law of *Eddie and *Carmel Shaw, Elsie Burke (Waikouaiti), Michael and Janine Shaw, *Philip, and Annmary Shaw , and a loved auntie to all her nieces and nephews (*denotes deceased). A wonderful caring lady who will be sadly missed by her family.      At Avise’s request, a private cremation was held on Thursday, November 5th.  Messages C/- 48 Johnson Street, Milton 9220.
 
HILLS, Alma May (nee Bateman).   Alma passed peacefully on 24th March 2020 (during COVID Level 4) at Radius Fulton Care Centre, Dunedin; aged 91 years. A much loved and cherished mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother.  John, Linda, Vivienne, Bruce and their families now invite you to attend a get-together and Memorial Service to celebrate the life and times of Alma on Saturday, 28th November 2020 from 2pm in the Milton Bruce RSA, Union Street, Milton.  A private family interment of Alma’s ashes will be held. 
 
KEAST, George Alexander; Reg No. 926839, Signals, NZINF; aged 83 years.  Suddenly but peacefully on 18thNovember, 2020 while on holiday with Elsie, his wife of 61 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Murray and Ali, Paul and Sue, Donna and David (W.A), Russell and Marie, Allan and Helen, Susan and BJ, and a loved grandfather of his 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  A service to celebrate George’s life will be held on Tuesday 24th November in the Tokomairiro Presbyterian Church, Union Street, Milton at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
