MASLIN, Judith Mary; Peacefully, on 3rdAugust, 2019 at Clutha Health First, Balclutha; Aged 58 years.  Dearly loved daughter of the late Mary and Rodger Maslin, loved sister and sister-in-law of Stuart and Lynette, Tim and Jayne, cherished Aunty of Miriam and Will, David, Matthew and Zara; Anna and Bradley, Megan, and Laura.  A service of farewell for Judith will be held on Wednesday, 7th August in St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Balclutha at 1.30pm, then leaving for the Balclutha Lawn Cemetery. FORD, Lois Ann; Peacefully, on August 5th, 2019 in the loving care of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Sacred Heart Home, Dunedin; aged 92 years.  Dearly loved wife of the late Johnny, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Donald and Cheryl (Ashburton), Martin and Tracey (Kaka Point), Mike and Sheryl (Queenstown), Patrick and Linda (Alexandra), Margaret and Terry Scholes (Queensland), Ellen and Abioseh Kamara (South Africa), and a cherished Grandmother of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. R.I.P.  Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 9th at 1.30 p.m. in St Mary MacKillop Catholic Church, Stewart Street, Balclutha, then leaving for the Balclutha Lawn Cemetery. BATT, Olive Stuart (nee Beal; aged 81 years). Sadly, Olive passed away peacefully on 10thAugust, 2019 at Clutha Views Lifecare, Balclutha, after a long illness. Dearly loved wife of Adrian, much loved mother and mother-in- law of Paul and the late Ann, Wayne and Catherine, Adrian Jnr. and Cathy, and a cherished Grandma of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Clutha Views Lifecare for their wonderful care of Olive.  At Olive’s request, a private family service has been held. BEGG, William Thomas (Willie) JP. Taken suddenly, but peacefully in his sleep on August 12th, 2019; aged 63 years. Loved son of the late Adam and Jean Begg, much loved husband of Linda and devoted father, father-in-law and grandad of Ross and Carmen, George, Libby, and Henry; David and Sarah, Maggie, and Alice; Anna and Adam; Andrew and Rebecca, Adam, and Charlotte. McLAREN, Ethel Una of Balclutha and formerly of Romahapa.  Passed away 16 August 2019 at Clutha Views Lifecare, aged 93 years.  Dearly loved wife of Jim*, much loved mum of Donald and Noeline (Waitepeka), Una and Murray* Roulston (Invercargill), Rob and Paul Antonievic (Auckland), Jill Hibbs (Mosgiel), Wendy and John Gillespie (Balclutha) and a loved nana of her 14 grandchildren and great nana of her 16 great grandchildren (* denotes deceased).

MICHIE, Bryan Donald. Died peacefully at Clutha Health First on August 18th, 2019 surrounded by his loving family; aged 79 years. ROULSTON, Susanne May (Sue - nee Cubitt). Peacefully, at Bainswood on Victoria Rest Home, Rangiora, on August 24th, 2019, aged 66 years.  Loved wife of the late Geoffrey, cherished mother and mother-in-law of Denise and Grant, Bruce and Marylu, the late Richard, treasured grandmother of Cassandra, and Jessica; Khane, Care and Renz, Nico and Karen, Paolo, Rocky, and Rylu and a loved great grandmother of Naji, and Yassi.    A service of farewell for Sue will be held on Saturday, August 31st at 11 a.m. in our Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, then leaving for the Owaka Cemetery.  Interment at Owaka Cemetery will be held at approximately 1.30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Owaka St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at Sue’s service.  Messages to 41 Kathleen Crescent, Hornby, Christchurch 9042.

Dearly loved wife of the late Cliff, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Anne and John Mortimer (Auckland), John and Joan (Kaka Point), Hilary (Dunedin), and special Granny of Aaron, Carrick and Sally; Bronwyn, Paula and Blair, Glen and Stephanie, Kate and Tom; Simon and Anna, Paul and Monique, Melissa and Hayden, and great Granny of all her great- grandchildren.  A service of farewell for Rachael will be held on Monday 2nd September at 1.30pm in our Chapel, 12 James Street, Balclutha, followed by a private cremation.
